Cool Simplified installation of h-encore! (PSVita CFW for 3.65,3.67,3.68)

I have seen many people my self included had or have issues with installing h-encore.

So here's a simpler way to do it. ( Make sure you have this link opened in background you will need it! )

Grab this from Google drive! (It's a half finished version of h-encore. Meaning everything until step 7 has already been done.)

Once you downloaded it, extract it on your desktop or any other place you like.

Inside is a folder called "h-encore - Copy".

Rename the folder to h-encore, so you don't get confused later.

Do the step 7, and if you don't have QCMA installed, install it!

Than the step 8. (Once you get the numbers generated, keep them opened in the browser. We will need them in the following step!)

After doing these things, what you want to do is the following:

Go to the h-encore folder, you extracted and renamed earlier.

On Windows 10 (images): Click on address bar (a.k.a path of the folder), go to the begging and type CMD. (Make a space between CMD and C: [Or what ever your drive letter is.]) Than just press enter!

On Windows 7: Hold Shift and Right click on any empty area, and chose open command prompt here. (It will automatically open the correct path, as long as your in h-encore and not in some other folder.)

3. If you did it correctly, it will open the command prompt window with the located path.

Now you can do the step 9.

*Step 9 explained:

Copy the following commands in text document, for sake of simplicity!

psvimg-create -n app -K YOUR_KEY app PCSG90096/app

psvimg-create -n appmeta -K YOUR_KEY appmeta PCSG90096/appmeta

psvimg-create -n license -K YOUR_KEY license PCSG90096/license

psvimg-create -n savedata -K YOUR_KEY savedata PCSG90096/savedata

And replace every YOUR_KEY with the key we created earlier. (Generated numbers from the browser.)

##IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE YOU DON'T ERASE SPACES BETWEEN -K and app or appmeta or license or savedata.

Now copy one by one edited commands into CMD, and wait for each one to finish!

You may get an error that the path was not found. (Fix is to just retry to open CMD again, the way i explained earlier.)

Once done, it should create 4 folders from above code in h-encore\PCSG90096. You should see 4 new folders.

Connect your Vita to your PC and start content manager, pick Copy Content and start QCMA. (On your PC.)

Than pick PC (On Vita).

USB Cable.

Once connected pick PC ➡️ PS Vita System, Applications, PS Vita.

On your computer go to the QCMA it will be hidden with the rest of the programs running. And right click on it, select settings.

It will show you the default save paths.

Applications / Backups.

Click browse.

It will ask you if you want to change it, don't.

Just copy the default path.

Exit out of QCMA just don't close the software completely.

Now in Windows Explorer, paste the address you just copied.

It will show you the ACID of your Vita. (Which you copied when generating the key earlier.)

Open that, than copy paste the PCSG90096. (From h-encore folder.)

Now right click on QCMA again and chose Refresh Database.

The number of items should go up.

On Vita you should see h-encore (with happy Courage the Cowardly Dog icon. [That's my edit on the icon. 🙂] )

Now just click Copy on Vita. (If you get an error with the account, than you made the wrong key for ACID.)

Once done, the h-encore bubble should appear.

Feel free to follow the rest of tutorial from GitHub. (Step 12)

P.S. This guide is for Windows only! (64 bit)

If your running on 32 bit, download this and replace it with provided from h-encore folder! (The software it self.)

EDIT: FAQ

Q: My system is running 3.6.5 or 3.6.7, and it asks me to update. What do i do?

A: Put this in your wifi settings* dns: 212.47.229.76 and go to the QCMA settings and check offline mode. (If it wasn't checked already) Than just reboot.

*It's in wifi settings, than connected wifi, advanced settings, dns to manual. And write the following dns: 212.47.229.76.
