The problem you are receiving is a file system error and was caused by your previous format. Thing is - these players use a hacked FAT file system, and when you format it you turn it to the regular FAT file system, which has stricter limitations.

There are two solutions to your problem:

1) Format it in FAT32 and drop the music back in

2) Format it in FAT and create a folder in which you put the music, rather than just throwing every file in the root of the drive. The FAT file system is able to store only a certain number of files in the root directory (can't remember the exact number).

Either of these options should solve your problem.
