| One day TT wil make Home useful for us - but this day is far in the fututre ![]() Another good thing would be to have the chance to keep map share corrections. Some errors I'm reporting for several years now and with every new map they are back again and I have to fix the problems. Could the Jukebox bug be as simple as an overflow error? Sounds almost like a register is not reset in time or the counter reaches a limit without being set to zero. |

| Not sure if it is really allowed to post it here but I found a nice tool to activate the maps in another forum and since many users have problems with the activating process... It's called Fast Activate. It is as simple as copying the tool into the root of the devcie or the map folder and starting it. Here is the link to the thread. |

| It's a little bit interesting to see the 1st release of this tool appeared 08.07.2010 (if I'm not mistaken!), just right after this: Quote:
according to the "author" - it is fixed now in 09.07.2010 release. For all of you, here is original attached, courtesy of TTuser (as it is public now): (EDIT: Then again, it may be the same person, but I doubt it, having in mind TTuser's affinity for batch based scripting) Last edited by XisiX; 07-09-2010 at 17:51.

| For a moment I thought it's a program running on the TT device. Is it?! ...but it's the same Windows application repackaged, probably a runmeforallautomatic variation(?). (I cannot read forums with members only access policy) An application running on the TT device, a Linux ARM keygen could be integrated as an automatic step in the ttsystem (ttnapp hookup), or as a TT Tool kind of extra menu explicitly user called procedure, followed by reboot into normal navigation (ttntool hookup). Even dsa could be ported as a ttntool hook-up! Maybe... (knowing the target device might be an advantage) Last edited by dsa8310; 07-09-2010 at 19:06. |

There is one issue however: devices with hard disk, like my go910, would never be able to run the dsa hook-up, because the storage never gets mounted by TT... Devices with SD would benefit though ("surprisingly", TT manages to mount the storage for them...)

Its been some months since I updated, I follow progress with interest as DSA's application has developed. Summer holidays looming I thought I should update. I currently have : TomTom One XL 32MB RAM (2.9Mb of which is free) 1GB internal Flash only ! Last update of Navcore was to 9.051 (new 3 panel screen) UK & ROI Maps 845.2645 only loaded at moment (doesn't seem to have ALG, but not a real problem, could be emulation mode x50 ?) I have downloaded UK & ROI 850.2781 ready to install and patch But am unsure which of the above CAB files and emulation modes to use with the lilmitations of the hardware I have. Any advice would be much appreciated. Ian

The 850.2781 maps support all features, I think.

Just to give feedback on my TomTom One XL 2009 1GB Falsh 32MB RAM, V9.103 and 850.2781 seem to work fine, I've gone with the default x50 mode. I'm not using Loquendo or TTSpeech, No Juke box. IQ Routes and ALG both seem to be functioning. Ian

| @XisiX : I don't think the keygen is based on TTUSERS work, only the same tools are used from my view. The tool was updated again and if you start it, it unpacks the keygens and yDG patcher. So yes, it is script based but to call TTUSER's keygen the original? The first maybe but I have to say the current version seems to work fine and is stable, even with automatic meta update now, so forgive me but I think this is better than the "original" |

| Hello guys (especially dsa), I am using for a long time the 8413 navcore version with the Greek map v.825 which I achieved to install reading a mini-tutorial that dsa posted for me when I was asking for help in this forum! I am very happy to use it for so long, even I had many problems because my device freezes very often... Now I want to make an update to version 9 and get new maps for Greece! could anybody tell me if it is worth for my GO910 to update the navcore installed, if there is new map for Greece available now (and where i can find it), and if possible a mini-tutorial to know what to do, because I don't know very much about all this... Thank you in advance! |

Install the Europe v850.2800 map from post #1470. It includes Greece. Check out nc v9.103 from post #1486 (the gk cab) & post #1488 (the xpi archive), and nc v9.201 from post #1406. The corresponding xpi archive should be unzipped and all data* files copied over the top of your device after each dsa installation. The latest dsa is in post #1467; use the default x50 mode. The correct dsa (Windows) installation is described in the included ReadMeFirst.html file. The howtos are accessible via the help button.
