I saw there is a new type of meta - .tmeta and saw that in the patchers I have is no reference to that.

Please help me, I spended already 3 days and no luck.

Thanks in advanced, any help will be apreciated.
Not sure if this is any help for you, but can you use any of v835.xxx maps or is this rebooting only with 840.xxx maps? I had weird rebooting problems with 840 maps. What I did was that I made new .dct file (for each map) and installed nc again. I'm not sure about the order but either way. Oh yes, and somehow I managed to get the maps to work.

New: The MB, aka swap support in v8 kernels has been improved.

The required swap file is set up during the installation phase which must be done exclusively via dsa.exe.
Therefore the memory issues (which cause reboots) are supposed to be alleviated for 32MB devices that use the MB option.
The Memory Boost menu item has been kept in a simplified form and it's not required to trigger the swap setup anymore.

Whether the MB will actually help with the 32MB devices running a v8(.391 truck) NC remains to be seen.

Here's an enhanced ttntools:

Please unzip it again over the top of your device and recollect the same barcelona folder. Send it to me anew.

Bye
Give a try to the latest dsa.exe in post #753.

Erase your previous dsa_navcore... file(s) (it's next to the v8.391 TT cabinet file).
Install v8.391 with the default x50 but with the MB option selected.
See whether it's any change at all.

Great. Now, try to switch off and back on the Bluetooth. Then search again.
(I might need extra details about your BT settings, we might have to go to the original v7.903 barcelona...)

It's just for collecting folder barcelona, it simply reboots by design.

My mistake, I've corrected it, the new ttsystem will also produce folder barcelona and then it will reboot...

What are the first two chars of your device serial number?
(the serial number is in file ttgo.bif on line beginning with "DeviceSerialNumber=" OR labeled to the back of your device)

@china74

No breakthrough here, the damn device is a GO Classic, serial starting with B1... I do not think the GO Classic has a BT in the first place... it doesn't.

BUT, be glad that you are not the first GO Classic case. You are the beneficiary of an early patching/testing of another GO Classic which has fixed the GPS!

Patch your device with the latest dsa-15December09.zip, default x50 and MD -- it will improve your memory handling, so that LoquendoTTS might work well for you.

Use the LoquendoTTS mentioned in the dsa help (remove old folder LoquendoTTS first and replace it with the one in the help).
