Best with GO300?

Hi,

I have one of the original TomTom GO 300's, I even have a certificate to say so!

My last setup was as follows:

App: 8.204 (9718/081105) 05:23 2962
GPS version 1.20, Boot 5.5106
Map: UK & RI v825.2157

This worked very well.

So I thought I would update to the latest Navcore and maps, so I updated to App: v8.410 (1218/090213) OS: 286217. GPS v1.20, boot 5.5120
Map: UK & RI v830.2305.

I am finding I was able to do more with the older version or I think I could, I had more choice of computer voices ...... I tried adding LoquendoTTS to the new setup but it does not work, well it does but slows my GO down so much it is no use.

So what Navcore/maps do people with a GO 300 use, what is the best setup to use with a very old GO 300?

I have got 8.204 running fine on a TT300.

Any maps could be used with this NC. You could try to stick on a newer NC though, I just have not had the chance.
