Member: 984920 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | You screwed it dude... If you have W7 installed on your PC (same as I do) you can format in fat mode, but no way you can introduce the command.com or the 32bit OS, as W7 has not it anymore... The way I can think about: - get a Virtual Machine loader (Sun VirtualBox works for me): http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads - Install the VirtualBox software (won't damage your system, guarantee) - Downolad from somewhere out there an XP IMAGE file (an XP converted to image, like nero or WinIso) (just google out "windows xp iso image" ) - Install XP (mount XP image) inside the virtual machine, & install the XP as if you were installing it on a brand new hard disk) - copy all Nuvi CD & install INSIDE the Virtual machine Disk (you will see it as Virtual Disk C) - proceed as you did before when XP was your system, format the Nuvi, & all over... Good luck Carlos (Windows Seven Ultimate + Garmin Nuvi 710) Last edited by Carloncho57; 11-26-2009 at 18:46. |
