I managed to install Garmin on my N82 and made it work with the internal GPS but I am facing another problem: I don't know where should I download the maps from and how / where to upload them in the MMC?? Can anybody help me with some links and the steps to be followed in order to make the maps work? It might be somewhere written in this forum but I have to admit I got lost through all these posts..

For danylmun: Yes, finally I have made it work

it wasn't easy but I did it. N82 rules, believe me! You will have GPS signal in 5-10 seconds which I believe it's impressive for a mobile phone!

ive got it working and it finds the internal gps but it says cannot unlock the detailed map with unit id if that makes any sense anyone help out on this problem
or im goin back to tom tom hehe

Aghhh I bought a new 6GB MicroSD and did a straight copy of all the contents form my old 2GB card (containing th Garmin install) to the new one and now all of a sudden Garmin won't work with my internal GPS on my N82. I looked in the Garmin install folder on the card and all the relevant files are still there... what gives?

it wont work unfortunatly, i done this the other night, only way could get it to work with new memory card was to reinstall garmin and make new sw.unl for new card, just reinstalled version .20 to get card id and made new set of sw.unl and gmapsupp.unl, then re upgrade to either version .40 or .60 all your maps and pois can stay on card, just copy and overwrite files with version .20, install and then again with version .40 or .60 to upgrade again

i am downloading maps for north america (see in the pic attached) can someone tell me how to transfer these to my n95-1 and make it work. All i need is ontario CA maps and POI's.

Also is it the right torrent i am downloading (check size and title).

Hi,

I am a new member, but i downloaded Garmin from torrent and have everything cracked today, but after opening it a few times, it came up with the following "Cant Unlock Maps for Garmin device with unit 540016341, do you want to unlock it now?" I pressed Yes, then it told me to type in a 25 digit code. I did so using the Keygen 1.1, but the messege still comes up.

Could anyone please help me

You need to generate the codes with keygen, after that open up notebook and paste teh code into it, save file as SW.UNL (for GPS) and GMAPSUPP.UNL (for maps) Make sure it's .UNL only and not .txt behind it.

just can plz tell me in steps to get maps in my n95 after downloading this 1.11gb torrent cuz i just want to avoid reading 41 pages of this thread (busy in new year party's)
