ok maybe i'm just doing something wrong or i'm getting bad maps...i have garmin 4.10.60 and have the gps unlocked, and i have the world basemap. I guess my problem is with City navigator North america nt 2008. I d/l the 1.12gb file off iso and xfr'd it onto the garmin folder on my memory card. I open up garmin and it only shows the basemap. I try to search for an address and it tell me i need detailed maps for that...

Also with the mapsource and Mapinstall programs that were posted earlier, how do those work? it never lets me select(highlight) a country or location. all i can do is select new waypoints..

i think my prob is im not installing it properly wish i had gone for the 8gb card phone now
if i start data transfer and open folder 4.10.20 hit setup it finds the phone drive j which is the right one when i click install in a nanno second it says installed when i check on phone in apps its not even there

so the only way i can install is copy folder 4.10.20 start data transfer open drive j paste it in then go into file manager run setup from there it all installs ok but when i start garmin xt in apps it does not boot

if anyone has installed on n95 internal 8gb please let me know how you installed it

Hi BuMobiles, sorry to be a pain but do you have any links for garmin xt v4.10.20 as the links i can find on the forums are not working for me? i have manage to get v4.10.60 and tried to install that but presume i need the older version 1st then upgrade to this later version.

I would be grateful if you have any other links to other items i may need to get this running on my n95.

Thanks in advance

Ooops. Should have made it clear. Yes, you use IMEI convertor to generate a Device ID from your IMEI. From there, you plug that number into the Jetmouse Keygen (version 1.3 at present) to get the unlock code.

The iso needs to be either mounted or burnt to a DVD.

All these maps needs mapsource to install to your phone.

Some people rip the img off the phone and post it. If it is in gmapsupp.imp or gmaprom.img format, then it can be copied straight to the phone.

Otherwise, you need to install mapsource, and then open the map on your PC and select the tiles or parts of map you want compiled and sent to your phone as a gmapsupp.img file.
