Garmin XT 4.10.60 S60 - GSM-Forum

Afternoon all.

Read through prior posts about installing Garmin XT 4.10.20 S60 which all went well with crack etc and works. I also read about the .40 and .60 updates to which ive also managed to get on too and all working. One thing of note is that im based in the UK and have moved to a house that was built Dec 06 (just over 1 year old now) and no matter what .IMG of a UK map i get i cant seem to get one thats up to date enough to have my street on it.

I have spent all day trawling forums and from the numerous posts of maps none have worked. Surely Garmin have a UK map for XT thats more up to date than 14 months ago? If this is the case, could anyone point me how to a) obtain one or b) a way of getting some form of update for it. There might be a case c) where there just simply isnt one that up to date, but it would be interesting to know.

Im using an N95 to get this working, and ironically the in built satnav software from Nokia DOES find my street and house! Shame i hate it!

Any suggestions welcome.

Unfortunately, you will be out of luck. You have to wait until NavTeq updates their database before newer Garmin maps will have it.

The latest map is Europe 2008 NT.

Ok thanks. I just got a map posted here. Maybe its old? Is there a link to Europe 2008 NT? Does that contain UK within it?

Is there a satnav (Route66 or Garmin are all i know work with my INT GPS) that finds postcode GL2 2B* (* = any letter as these are for new area - J might be best to test). Any1 able to tell me ?

Yes Europe 2008 NT contains UK

This update does not add support for built-in GPS receivers.
Official Garmin web info.

This will work just like any version, you still need to use keygen to generate your SW.UNL. If you have previous version install you can keep all the files just update version.

Not a Taiwan trial version, official release from Garmin

Changes made from version 4.10.40 to 4.10.60:

* Provide the latest Garmin splash screen and associated copyright text.
* Provide a Vehicle setting within Settings->Map to support the downloadable Garmin vehicles.
* Provide Afrikaans voice support.
* Improve the Bluetooth connection process for the GPS receiver.
* Correct the voice selection in the startup page.
* Correct the search capability to find Contacts and My Locations using lowercase letters.
* Correct a GPX import failure when the route or track name is long.
* Correct the Save to Contacts from My Locations to save the location also.
* Correct the display of a POI position for countries that use comma as a decimal separator.
* Correct the POI count in the POI list page.
