Hi!

Yes, that's completely normal. You successfully installed MapSource and now MapSource complains that it can't find any maps. Install a map and everything will be fine.

Hi,

I managed to unlock a map (Garmin City Navigator Australia NT 2009) using latest mapsource version 6.15.4 without installing the earlier version 6.13.7 :

1. Extract MapSource_6154.exe using WinRAR
2. From the extracted files, run MAIN.msi. This will install mapsource 6.15.4 and you don't really need to run Setup.exe. The software is now ready for use.
3. To unlock a map: Run a separate program UnlockWizard automatically installed on your computer when you install mapsource 6.15.4. When prompt, enter 25 character unlock code you got from Keygenerator and done, your map is unlocked.

Installation of software on a phone (Symbian S60 3rd Edition):
Install Garmin Mobile XT Free Basemap: http://www8.garmin.com/software/Garm...emap_4xxxx.exe
Install Garmin Mobile XT Support Files: http://www8.garmin.com/software/Garm...iles_4xxxx.exe
Install Garmin Mobile XT for Symbian S60 3rd Edition: http://www8.garmin.com/software/Garm...tion_50020.exe
Execute GarminMobileXT.sis on your phone. It is located in the root of your phone or SD-card.
Start the application.
Select settings for text language, voice, unit and for Garmin Online.
Exit the application.
Open the file called GarminDevice.xml. It is located in the Garmin folder.
Look for <Id>XXXXXXXXXX</Id>
Use the keygenerator (http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/show...04&postcount=4) to generate an unlock key for the application, and save the key in a file called SW.UNL (not SW.UNL.txt) using Notepad. The file should be saved in the Garmin folder.

ive downloaded the maps, ive run the "CNEUNT2009.11Update_ENU.msi" file then it tells me - error reading file from c:/documents~city navigator europe mt 2009.22.gmap/[products/00263604/i07ada38.gmp. verify that file exists

Did you download the map from the above link? If you did, then the file Disk1.cab within MapSource_6137 is corrupted. Just download the latest version MapSource_6154 then install the msi file. You don't need to run Setup.exe.

For all your, you can use latest unsolicited update of Mapsource, thy you'll have in all programs/Garmin , new panel "UNLOCK WIZARD", just use that wizard, and unlock code - 25 characters, copy-paste from keygen jetmouse 1.5 , and after will ask you "do you want to register" , choose "no, i'm done", or something similar, and finish in the end, tha't all, you'll have unlocked maps!

This works 100% !

Detailed explanation

Do not use the setup from the windows folder!.

Install from the folder IMG your desired language version, eg: CNEUNT2009Update_NLD

To unlock, you get an unsolicited Mapsource update for you choose,
Unlock the Wizard, you just start itself. This stands in your Garmin folder (Start -> All Programs -> Software -> Unlock Wizard. Use the keygen to unlock with MapID: 378

Search ID of your GPS:
Through MapSource -> Tools -> Apparaat_ID fetch.

Now the cards are UNLOCKED in Mapsource you can easily transfer them to your GPS

TESTED , and 100% working!
