Garmin XT Maps (MapSource Version)

Many TNX mike, I strictly follow yr install instructions the main things (Garmin Mobile XT, World-Wide routable Basemap v3.01 and City Navigator Europe NT 2010.10 ) works, except during Europe map installation I got X:\Garmin.City.Navigator.Europe.NT.v2010.1.Update\ IMG\City Navigator Europe NT 2010.gmap\.author File not found message. I click on [Ignore] to continue the installation.

Here bellow few questions to finalize my installation:
1) How do I know what map I'm in use (WordWide or Europe)

2) How to configure automatic fill text (start typing a city the system fill (suggest) the rest)?

3) As NO installer for Israel rute v.158 How to install it?

By using MapSource?
By copying WHAT? WHERE? (folder/file)

4) How can I add Hebrew Voice guidance and lang text?

Do I have to download them? have you a link?
As I've NO Internet connection on my Nokia 6210 Navigator. How to fromp my PC and how to tranfert to my device?

1) On my phone it says "Basemap" or "Detailed map" in the lower right corner

2) You can't.... It is not in the software.....

3) Edit the reg-file and dobbelt-click it.....

4) If the hebrew voice is not included in the support file, you have to look for it yourself... Sorry....

for every one map. Put into gmapsupp.unl one by one without spaces.

Hi mike,

I finished installing Garmin Mobile XT, World-Wide routable Basemap v3.01, City Navigator Europe NT 2010.10 and Israel rute v.158. Everything works like a charm

Yet I've a question: It is possible to select what map in use Basemap or detailed?

And the last but not least, may you guide me where I'l be lucky to find the hebrew voice?

And? What's the problem?
I only release on RS and protect all links with Linksave. Would be a pain in the *** to upload all my maps again cause RS deletes them on request of Garmin

Hello, is there a (free) program to display (or even edit) a "gmapsupp.img" file on a PC ?
Reason: if i create with mapsource a gmapsupp.img file from different maps, i would like to
have a look (for "QA") to this gmapsup.img file on the PC before i use it outdoor in the gps-unit.
Until now i did not find any program in the www.

no problems mate. only info for people who want to download that map - i'm sure that most people will stuck with download

Frankly, most people are happy about this, especially when they are free users.
So jDownloader, takes care of the Captcha Files, downloads all files without interaction from the user and broken downloads are resumed, so no CRC errors.
Best is, its freeware and no ad-ware inside.
