Member: 603723 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | GARMIN XT v5.00.50 FREEZING !!! i'm using Garmin XT on Nokia 5800 and I'm having problem as sat nav keeps freezing and i'm having to reset phone each time. i'm using Garmin (v5.00.50s60.9) which works, but NOT unless i'm wanting to get from A to B in which case it just freezes. All other functions it does (nearest junction, knows where i am, POI etc) but not getting me any of them? Tried following earlier thread (#8) but no joy. What/where am i going wrong - or is it a phone setting thats throwing it out (i dont think it is). cheers Dave |

Member: 940334 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | It depends on the model of the phone. The US model has lots of bugs especially with garmin. Other model works fine although there is some hanging. If your phone hangs, press & hold the menu button & you will get the task manager, then press & hold garmin you will get the exit button. Its takes 30sec to 1 min. to exit, you don't have to restart you phone. |

Member: 603723 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hi (thanks to theman2009 - i HAD been restarting my phone prior!) I sorted out the hanging problem. All i did was down load another torrent. It works like a dream now. Poss the first torrent had some bad data...? cheers everone |
