Maps and more for Igo

As there aren't that many full versions (with all the maps, voices etc) for the Android, here's a bit of a long winded way to get most maps for the Igo MyWay for Android. (I am reliably informed that all maps after Igo 8.1 are compatible )

1 - Download the full Iphone version of the app (Google is your friend)

2 - Change the 'ipa' extention to 'zip'

3 - Use 'Winzip/WinRAR etc to explore the file, you should be able to find a folder called 'Contents'.

4 - Copy the 'Map', 'Building', 'POI', 'Speedcam' folders to the folder you installed Igo to on your Android.

Hey presto, you've now got the maps, 3D buildings, Points of interest and speedcams installed!!!

Also the icons in the 'car' folder generally has more choice than on the Android and strangely so does the voice folder

Installation Instructions:

1. Unzip the content of the iGOAndroid.zip to the root of your SD Card
2. Install the supplied APK on your device
3. Copy your content (maps, poi, 3D, elevations) to your SD Card's iGO\Content directory
4. Insert your SD Card into the device and launch the application from phone menu
After installing the igo on my xperia x10 I am not able to find any directory called IGO in my SD card. Any ideas?

You HAVE to create the folder on the root of the SD card, and you should copy everything into that folder (except the apk file).
