Newbie Requires help with tom tom..

Hello All I'm a newbie in gps.
Experience: TomTom One Boot loader upgraded to 5.5316, NC 9.017 SE, map upgraded to USA and Canada 865 version.
Failed to upgrade maps to USA and Canada 925 or 930. A map would be installed on SD. FastActive reports everything is okay for any of those and a new map would be listed in its report. However, TomTom is not able to open neither one. Device reset would not help. 865 map installed on the same SD runs fine.
Thanks

Your 9.017 navcore can run any current map PROVIDED there's a meta code available for it!

As far as the latest v935 maps are concerned, we currently only have metas for:
United_States_2GB_935_5753
USA_Canada_and_Mexico_935_5811

For the previous v930's we have:
United_States_930_5601
United_States_2GB_930_5563
USA_Canada_930_5563
USA_Canada_930_5605
USA_Canada_and_Mexico_930_5605
Northern_US_and_Canada_930_5603

and of course the map folder AND navcore need to be together either in internal memory or SD card and of course only use the latest FastActivate tool to activate the map and patch the navcore

FastActivate I use is the latest one available. NC and a map I use are in the same location which either internal memory or SD. To make sure that NC 9.017 and a new bootloader work fine from SD I used v865 map installed on SD. No doubt that's not an issue. I feel confused on v925 and v930 names. Should a map folder be named as in Meta list?

Normally the map folder would just be called United_States_2GB or USA_Canada_and_Mexico etc, etc although some uploaders/sharers actually incl the version & number too in the title (ike 935_5811) but that makes no difference.

It just sounds like you're trying to use a map that we don't have a meta for and therefore cannot be used.

Why not try one of those I've listed above?

I'll try that. I used for maps in question meta from other maps suggested on. And as I noticed earlier FastActivate would not complain on anything.
Thanks.
