Copy all files onto SD card. 2. Insert SD card into phone and the installation process should start automatically. If not, navigation to \Storage Card\2577\ and install either the signed or unsigned "ROUTE 66 N7.CAB" file. 2. When installation is completed, exit Route 66 if it starts automatically. 3. Copy either either unsigned or signed ROUTE66N7.exe into "\Storage Card\Program Files\Route 66\" or "\Program Files\Route 66\" depending on where you installed it. 4. Start Route 66 and when asked to activate, select Internet. 5. Enter 16 "a" as the activation key ("aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"). NOTE: You must download a map and place it into "\Storage Card\maps\" or else you will a "one or more files are missing" error. I am looking for USA maps, particularly Southern California. Member: 426391 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thanks for the software...everything installed fine on my cingular 3125 (qtek 8500, HTC Star trek) including the activation key, only problem is that when I open the East map (only map installed) I get a message that says not enough memory to open map. Everything is installed on a 512MB microSD card. Total file size for the complete installation was 388.4MB....what size card is everyone else using? |

Member: 426391 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thanks for the reply...I soft reset the phone to insure that no apps were running and I still get the same message....I'll try to install the app in a 1GB microSD to be sure that it's not the card instead of RAM, but you are probably right. shucks.. it was looking promising. Got any leads on Mapopolis Maps for Windows smartphone?? |

I tried different things: - Copy all folders to root of storagecard. (tried also with empty one) - Install CAB-file, cause autorun don't seem to work. - Installed on card (on phonememory neither works) - After installation rogram startup automatic. - Stop program with taskmanager, cause there aint no option in R66 to close the app. - Overwrite R66...exe - Reboot phone - Start R66 - I need to choose language, it says welcome to R66, choose map, it hangs. 1 time I got further than this, by modifying "ActivationKey.dat" that is placed in memorycard-root after installation. I copied to desktop and renamed to .txt Then type 16 aaa's and save. Replace the item on MC and start R66. After choosing Map, it showed me legal notice, and then hangs. I think I'm warm, but I don't succeed to get furher. Any help is welcome!! | |
