I can't say for sure what it is. I used SKTools to clean up the registry properly after I got the problem and it still wouldn't work. When I reset the phone to factory, I am still using the same files and it will work again- so it is not writing anything to files themselves...there must be something on the phone's registry.

But I personally thought it might be a memory issue.

hello guys

I did try to install R66 on my Dash with memory card 2gb followin instraction as below

Installation
1. Copy all files onto SD card.
2. Insert SD card into phone and the installation process should start automatically. If not, navigation to \Storage Card\2577\ and install either the signed or unsigned "ROUTE 66 N7.CAB" file.

and untill this step it says:Succesfully Installed on your Device,and after 2sec another page pops up saying:At least one file missing.please install the application again

what am I doing wrong?

I'm also looking for some europe maps, Benelux and germany

Don't copy the file to the SD card but extract the .zip file directly to the Card, because it contains hidden files.
After this it should work correctly. At least it did for me.

I have downloaded the Turkey.map file from Route 66 website is there any way of changing it to .PRM file
