can someone help me? i downloaded this file but in no way can i understand how i update tt5 on my p910.. as far as i saw..it was for palmos and pocketpc

Australia v5.68 map

Different Platform, if you have TT5 this map will be the last one.

TT6 is not for this version phone "UIQ P910i"

NO, it doesn't work. For TT v5.x only maps under v6.5x

Hi,

I searched heaps and I just keep getting confused !!! I have a P910i. I realise u can use Tom Tom 5 on it and can use version 6 maps on it upto a certain model number

1. What version number are compatible with 5.5 ?
2. What the main diff between ver 5 and 6 maps
3. Is their or any plans for a version 6 map for australia
4. Does TomTom 6 have australia map ??

So I got this rookie question
I got this problem, TomTom can't seem to find the maps. Even though I placed my map in the same place I placed my Voices (which tomtom does find)
D:\MSSEMC\P-Series\voices
D:\MSSEMC\P-Series\maps\benelux\--files--

I also tried
D:\MSSEMC\P-Series\benelux\--files--
D:\MSSEMC\P-Series\maps\--files--
And many more...

I used the map my cousin uses with his PPC (TomTom Navigator), I read this wouldn't be a problem.

But does anyone have a WORKING Benelux map for the P910i???

Can anyone please tell me if tomtom 6 for UIQ 3 works the same on the M600i as it does on the P990? If it is possible any instructions?? as i have tried installing it to the m600i and it seem to install but can't find tomtom anywhere after the installation completes?

You can't make a seperate folder for all maps!
If your benelux-map are named benelux.mid, benelux.pna and the suitable cline.dat etc. the folder must be named benelux

Just try
D:\MSSEMC\P-Series\benelux\

Each map-files must have a seperate folder at MSSEMC\P-Series\ .
