tom tom go 700 help

I have just been given tom tom go 700 connected it to computer and found that there is nothing in the hard drive zero not a file.

can some one tell me where i can get hold of original software and passwords or tell me how to load the tom tom software for this model

i hope some one can point me in the right direction

A good place to start is the TomTom V8 Maps and Firmware "THREAD"

This thread will give you all the info on how to restore the drive
