Tomtom 6.02 (8300) for Symbian OS 9.1

Came across this on another website:

TomTom Navigator 6.02 build 8300

>> Easy to use: The simple installation and intuitive user menu gives you the perfect navigation experience.

>> Detailed maps of your region + the major roads of Western Europe: Door-to-door navigation in your region and cross border navigation to any town in Western Europe.

>> Clear and accurate spoken and visual instructions: Easy to follow route instructions and crystal clear 2D or 3D maps lead you from door-to-door whether you travel by car, by bike or on foot

>> Easy call handling: Never miss a call or SMS message while navigating through on-screen instructions.
Navigate direct to contacts stored in your address book

This version IS NOT cracked so you have to manually activate each map with key generator (in attachment - kg.zip)

Download
- TomTom 6.02 (8300)
- keygen

Installation:
- copy all files from folder ttn.symbian_6.020 to root folder of your memory card in "mass storage" mode
- tomtom should install automatically

Compatibility:
All Symbian 9.1 S60v3 devices (not Nokia N91 and Nokia 3250).

Changelog:
I did not find any information about changes/improvements since version 6.01 (7640)

ok I tried it - uninstalled my old 6.01 version.
and copied files across as mentioned in post.

TT did not install automatically.

TT shows in the app manager, but even when trying to install it from there - it fails. (unable to install)

I'm using an E50.

you need to reset phone -- unistall/install does not work

Hi, just an update. Managed to activate the maps. All working ok on a N73, only issue is the voice causing a slight lag as was the case in 6.01. Any solutions for this yet?

Cheers in advance.

PS my firmware is 3 UK v3

@supplier. thanks for the tip.

I found a different package (same files), which had a readme included.

after uninstall of old version, use data transfer mode
Don't copy TomTom-NAVIGATOR.sis into \private\10202dce\, but into the root folder of the memory card.
Start install of sis file using file browser. install will succeed. use data transfer mode again and copy TomTom-NAVIGATOR.sis to \private\10202dce\. now you can uninstall too..

worked for me.

by the way, i'm using n73 music edition.

could someone reupp all the needed files? And tell me how to install the maps?

The maps can be installed in the root directory of the mmc. It can be named anything you want. Tomtom will find it.

Put the whole map folder (unzipped/unrared) into the root of your memory stick. By the root i mean the very first screen you see when looking into the memory stick. IF you have done it right, the root will also have folders called tomtom, raster, cities, zipped, etc. Thats where i mean.
