Tomtom north america v665.1293 need help with installation. - GSM-Forum

Hello, i live in US and have download Tomtom North America v665.1293 but i dont know how to install my PDA cingular 8525 ( i have 2gb sd card and 1 bluetooth gps) however i was following the instruction but it got me crazy. there is Tomtom Home. and should i install this to my computer? and then use that program to install tomtom to my pda?

Second, i have problem with the map, i have north america map and US+Canada map, but they are in zip files. When i open up those zip files and try to find map.mid i dont see any map.mid files. All i see in the are 001 002 003 004 files like that.

However those north america and US+CANADA map in zipfile should i Wizard it?
does North America map support 52 states ? What US+CANADA any way? it's work for both countries?

HI I HAVE BOTH CANADA & USA AND NORTH AMERICA BUT I HAVE V650 WHICH INSTALLED GREAT AND HAVE MIDI FILES. YOU CAN GET THESE AND MORE AT http://rapidshare.de/users/5FQR80.

I INSTALLED TOMTOM 6 FROM THE SAME WEB SITE FROM THE TOMTOM SOFTWARE FILES SECTION.

THEN USING A CARD READER TRANSFARE TOMTOM6 ONTO MEMORY CARD THEN PUT MAP FILES ONTO MEMORY CARD, THEN PUT MEMORY CARD INTO PDA AND IF IT LIKE MY SMART PHONE IT WILL ASK FOR A CODE TO ACTIVATE, USE THE KEYGEN AGAIN IT IS ON THE SAME RAPIDSHARE SITE AS ABOVE IN TOMTOM SOFTWARE SECTION AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. WHEN YOU HAVE GOT KEY ENTER AND IT SHOULD WORK.

THESE ARE NOT THE LATEST MAPS BUT THEY WORK AND IT IS A GOOD WAY TO PRACTICE.

THESE ARE LARGE FILES AND MAY NOT FIT BOTH ON 2GB CARD
