TomTom one IQ routes messed up

Hi guys, long story short I decided to update my TT with TT home and it gave me maps to download, once I finished the device said the maps were not for this device, I formatted device as they told me to and now I cant get maps back as it says "no maps found"

As far as TT are concerned I cant get the free maps back, so I wanted to put the ones I found on here on my device but I dont know what firmware I was on, I got it a few months ago but never thought to check it and now its saying no maps found I cant find the firmware, any advice on how to work that out?

Also I assumed I was on the latest firmware as I used home so I downloaded a 915 xxxx map, but its not as simple as drag and drop is it? Ive been reading about meta files and the files wont work without meta but I cant find a guide showing what this is and how to put it on my device.

Sorry for the long post but is there anything at all you guys can help me with to get the TT up and running I dont care what maps it has I just want a map at this point.

Thank you
