tomtom one, waiting for valid gps signal? - GSM-Forum

I've got this tomtom one v2 from a friend that has never used it. I did get it back alive after suffering with the battery, i installed latest software and gpsfix(from tomtom home), i downloaded a map for Morocco(from this forum) + fast activate and i did all the options.
when turn it on, it turns on well but it doesn't find any satellite, i kept it for like two hours(outside) but still no signal, it just keeps saying"waiting for a valid gps signal"
I did reset it and restored to factory setting but still the same problem.

If you're actually looking at the Morocco map that is correct as you're not in the region which TT is trying to find. If you switch maps to UK then you should be OK.
This is the same as if you were running a USA map etc
