Hi TrickyDave and BuMobiles! Thanks for all the time you've spent helping here.
I'm hoping for a bit more help. I downloaded the North America map from TrickyDave's link above and the BuMobiles keygen from http:///vbb/showth...470238&page=11

However, when I follow the instructions BU gives, I get this error:

"There is no such map in keyfile 'Meta.txt'
Error
Press any key to continue..."

This text is in my meta.txt file

so I don't understand. Is the map I downloaded from TrickyDave's link not the same build? Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I have the Go 910 too.

and the keygen that BuMobiles posted and followed his instructions. Running the .bat file and entering my product code returned this error: "There is no such map in keyfile 'Meta.txt'

When I ran the keygen, it flashed and did nothing.
I don't have a .dct file in my maps folder.

Somehow I accidently posted that reply on the wrong thread and now have two posts here that say about the same thing. Doh! I'm sorry. I guess I have too many windows open. lol

You would need to update your Meta.txt file if "There is no such map in keyfile 'Meta.txt' Error. It should be working but in previous quotes add all the updated data to the meta.txt file just in case, also have you correctly copied all files of the keygen to the root? and copied the " mapname.meta " file of your downloaded map to the "Meta_files" folder?

I don't know why i can't see the maps when i doing every thing right i pached the maps and also pached the ttsystem when i put my card in there its say no maps found i m paching maps ver 710 any body pls tell me who to see the maps ?

By "root" you mean the root of the TomTom storage? No. I was preparing the map in a folder on my computer's HDD, which should be the same as the HDD on my TomTom 910, shouldn't it?

Yes, all the contents of the keygen folder are in one root folder and I did copy the North_America-7.meta file to the Meta_Files folder.

Just for clarity, the meta.txt file is just a .txt file with this text in it?
For my specific map.... "; North_America_2GB_710_1584
26 C6 D0 27 03 10 8B AE E0 57 99 A0 01 BD 88 34 North_America_2GB-7.meta"
...then saved as a file named "meta.txt"?
If so, that is what I did. If not, can you clarify what I'm supposed to do to make the meta.txt file work for my North_America 7.10 map?

I planned to copy the map along with the newly generated meta file, to my TomTom after creating the meta file and copying it to the North_America map folder. It shouldn't matter what storage space I prepare it on. Hard drive space is hard drive space.

I tried to download TomTom Activator (Easy Interface) and generate the code for USA map v675.1409 for my GO510 with ID AKSAG BSCP2 but the device does not want to accept the activation code generated. When I connect the device to a PC the code work and I can see the map, but after disconnetion it asks for activation. could somebody helpm me, plaese? Thanks a lot.

Hi your code for the Go510 is Q2TXG WLVAV BHJ8L ..... that's type in on your TomTom when you are not connected to TTHome. If TTHome claims it still needs activation when you connect, just select a manual activation and do it again via the keyboard. When you enter it in to activate, don't type the spaces, they are there just to make it easier to see

Yes, this is the same code I generated with the KeyGen but it does not work. I suspect the reason is I downloaded an update of firmware with TomTomHome. Could it be it? Thanks

All meta-codes are they just collected from other sites, or are you guys able to find them out?
How is it done?
