Thanks for the fast answer (like always), you are great !

So my assumption tomtom 7 maps wont work with the latest firmware is right or ? At least i tried all the tools, key gens, ...

So a suitable navigation software for my N95 8GB which uses the internal gps can only be Garmin or Route 66 , do you know which is better ?

tomtom 7 firmware does support v7 maps

they're just a trick on how to get working

route 66 or garmin xt

Route 66 - supports postcode search, but no custom POI's
Garmin XT - supports custom POI's, better detailed maps, but no postcode search ?

Sorry Vlado, I haven't tried the software hack myself, I just found it on another forum and there were so many asking or wondering why TomTom Home couldn't see the V7 maps that had been installed, I thought it might be useful. If anyone has tyried this and got it to work, perhaps they could post the info in this thread.

I Have a PDA Pocket PC. Mitac MioP350. Running TomTom Navigator.
Works fine with my Australian map v675.1431.
Do you know if TomTom have a later map version out for Australia yet?.
Maybe version 7
How can I be notified if and when something happen?.

I follow all your post.

TomTom 7.05 and 7.10 Australia Maps are out
but not for TomTom 6 PDA Version

you need to wait for TomTom 7 PDA Edition

Well it might just be me, but this link won't work for me. Maybe there are too many repeats of characters like " __ " I'm not sure, but this forum does strange things to repeated text.

tried on two different pc's working fine!

i've seen when i have posted a link like 4.***x it will change the x x x to *** due to naughty words (Children Read these Threads too)
