| Thanks BU, but do you see the icons or do they have a red x cross through them for you too. The fact that it always fails to upload just when that message loads is significant I feel. So please tell me are the icons visible for you? |

| Hello there, I have got a tomtom 520 with Navcore 8.300 and UK&IRE Map V815.2003, Everything is fine but i have noticed that when i added some new POI's from TomTom Home then the feature which when you navigate to.. POI.. POI Near You.. Search any POI... does not work, For example if i do Asda then it says POI not found but if i go under the supermarket section of POI's instead of doing the search by poi button then i can navigate to an Asda, which is strange, now even the original POI's do not come up if searched under the Search By POI button. Should the new POI's be put into the Map folder or a seperate poi folder in the root? The only thing i can think of is re-installing a map so atleast hopefully the original POI's come in the search by POI or one thing i have not done is I have not put the Home .dll file in my computer files, is this why?, i am now also not getting any map correction updates or Quick GPS fixes for the past 3-4 days. I thought before doing anything i should ask you guys. Any suggesstion or advice would be greatful? Thanks alot, Mo |

| I can't help you with the POIs as I don't have that device or Navcore. Someone else hopefully will. TomTom have said they were going to cut down on the updates to once a week. I think their servers are getting too much of a hit. |

| Attachments When i click on manage attachments i get ask, (with red cross) bmp , doc , gif , jpe , jpeg , jpg , pdf , png , pds , rpl (with red cross) txt , xls , and zip i have no probs uploading text ,rar , or zip as these are the only ones i use but all are listed as valid file extensions so i can only think that the red cross is because there is no picture to display. |

| New Compass in navcore 8 What have they done to the compass? Before I 'up'graded to navcore 8 I had a compass arrow with straight line distance to destination. Now I have a compass arrow pointing north and a direction of travel bearing on the status bar. Very useful for cross ocean navigation but useless on the roads. I've gone through the settings but it seems there are no other options. Any ideas? Other than blasting emails at TT complaining, which I will do if someone on here doesn't call me 'thicko' at points me to how to change it. |

I have read right through this thread over 2 days & tried to take in as much as I can, but you have to admit there is a lot to take in for someone that is new to this stuff. I have a TT One v2 and have tried the above with a v815.2003 map that I have. Howeve all I get is the start up screen ….the unit won’t go past this. So at present I’m running Navcore v8.001 Go X10 Map UK & ROI v8.10.1870 Could anyone advise me what is the best v8 software & map to use on my unit please? Many thanks.

Thank you for taking the time to answer that. We now know that is not the problem. It seemed to be relevant because it always fails just after that appears on screen.

| Navcore 8.10 I have successfully installed BU's Go_One_8.10 Navcore and added Usa_and_Canada_815_2022 to my ONE 125 v.8.014. The only problem so far is that once I disconnect from TT Home and device reboots and then if I turn it off it doesn't turn on. I get white screen and that is it. I can see that brightness changes to low once I try to shut it down just like on normal screen. It starts when you reboot it by pushing the button on for 15 seconds and works fine untill next shut down. Any suggestions why it does that? Thanks in advance. |
