You aren't getting a GPS signal in any location?

OK, you answered my question. Do you get a GPS signal with the original SD card?

What size SD card are you using for the update?

Card size shouldn't be the problem then.

Ok, Basically what i am doing is: ON the fresh SD Card, I am transferring the new NC V8.320 files onto the Card, with the patched NC files (The one with 4 folders) I am copying from the "SE_ttsystem.8320.9901" folder the "Outsourced.8320" and the "switchfiles" files and over-writing these 2 files with the one's on the new SD Card. Then from the folder "ttsystem.8320.9901.mappatch" I am copying the ttsystem file and the data.chk and over-writing these 2 files with the one's on the new SD Card. Then I am getting the Map folder and copying it to the SD Card and then patching it. Can you notice anything wrong here???

Thanks,

Mo

Not sure I understand the need for all the overwriting. I would start with a clean SD card. Install all the 8.320 files and folders from here: http://download.tomtom.com/sweet/navcore/navcore_8.320.9901.gox20.cab

Then install only the ttsystem file from here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HCLO34FX

Then install your patched map folder.

Just gave it a shot but still no luck, still stops at the map screen with no signal and freezes and restarts if you tap the screen. There must be a solution???

Tt300 help

Hi msubedar. Having read through your recent posts it looks as though you may have had the same problem as mine. All i did is keep updating the navcore in stages which seemed to give a different bootloader. To see the bootloader remove the sd card, then hold in the power button. You should get a black screen with all your devices info. Record the bootloader number to see any changes after each update.
As for which versions and maps i used scroll back to page 60 #893. There`s everything i did. However i didn`t bother with any special voices but lane correction,speed/safety cams, fuel prices all work. All done for a TomTom Go300 which now has navcore8204 + v815_2003 maps.
ps ive not yet mastered uploading any content so all ive got is from this site so all the thanks is due to the help from others on here good luck mate.

Do you know where i can find NC V8.204, then i can give this a shot because i have figured out that the TT300 does not like NC V8.320.

Thanks for your help,

Mo
