Hey thanks for the links, i downloaded the two parts and extracted them using winRaR but when i replace this newer version with the older version the tomtom xl freezes when i try to turn it on.... but when i put the older version back on then it works fine.. please could you help me cos i use this tomtom a lot but since its a 2009 version it doesnt have some roads. many thanks |

Member: 1320817 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hey, I dowloaded the maps for United kingdom & Republic of Ireland version 850.2820 and i used WinRaR to extract the two parts with the password gorilla. The map on my TOMTOM XL is from 2009 so when i replaced this new map, it got replaced but i when switched the tomtom on, it would freeze as if it doesnt have the requirements. and i had to reset the tomtom by holding the power button for 30 seconds. Please help me...( i used the tomtom home to find the latest version of map for the tomtom and it said 850.2820 and i dont know why it doesnt work) Thanks in advance.. |
