This upgrade (WM5) is only for HIMAYALA, Here under is some information of some HTC devices. Himayala The Himalaya phone is sold as XDA II, MDA II, Qtek 2020 and many other names. The Andes is the updated version that has a 1.3 megapixel camera, sold (among other names) as the XDA IIi. Wallaby The Wallaby phone is sold as O2 XDA, T-Mobile MDA, Qtek1010, Siemens SX-56 and many other names. Blue Angel The Blue Angel is sold as XDA III, MDA III, Qtek 9090, PDA2K and many other names. Magician The Magician is sold as i-Mate JAM and MDA Compact, among other names. Typhoon The Typhoon/Feeler/Sonata is sold as SP3, SP3i, SPV C500, qtek8010, qtek8020, etc. Universal the Universal will be sold as the qtek 4040, xda-IV, SPV M5000, mda-IV, imate 2005, and others. There are only 2 Device which can be upgraded to WM5 those are "Himayala" & "Typhoon". Rest of the devices can not be upgraded to WM5 due to some system incompatibility and hardware depencies. but some experts & ppc phreaks (xda-dev) are working on it.
