No matter what update.app I choose, I always receive this error:
Unknow file format;maybe not sunpport this flash file!!!

delete setup and then re-download check, if again any problem then it is not mrt hw tool problem because all things are working fine for all users may be your setup problem or pc problem

The .app is from other box support coz, guess what MRT does not have it`s own support files for HUAWEI.
Do you need screenshot from other tool that accepts same update.app?

Finally I found a firmware that can be written to phone
Huawei P20 EML-L29 EML-L09 hw normal Repair Emily-L29B 8.1.0.109(SP5C900) Firmware general Android 8.1.0 EMUI8.1.0 05014YTR [androidhost.ru].zip

But I`m unable to write vendor and country (coz phone is DEMO)
Because I can`t reboot to erecovery
