Hi all,

For the past year i have looking for a filipino technician. It has been a long long wait and we cant afford to waste any more time waiting. We need a skilled repairs techinician... yesterday

We urgently need an:
Experienced tech with over 6 years
Received some training from recognised tertiary institutes with certificates, diplomas or similar
Excellent soldering skills... chip level replacement
Skilled also with use of all other GSM repair equip
Must be a resident of the Philippines
Must be ready to mobilise this month, July

We are a company located in Samoa which is an island in the south pacific. We have been in business for 8 years now and have 2 branches on island. Our focus is on sales of handsets and accessories, unlocking + flashing etc, repairs and carrier return reporting.

Our repairs side of the business is weaker than it should be. With the dramatic increase in the number of handsets in the country and with the referrals to our service centre, we need to put more emphasis on this side of the business.

Since mid 2011 we have been in contact with EDI Staffbuilders regarding a head repairs technician for a 2 year contract. Our selected applicant pulled out last month due to personal reasons. This leaves us back at square 1. The agency has recommended 2 applicants so far and im not very pleased with how they responded in our phone interview.

Thanks for the questions.

We are located in Apia, Samoa on the island of Upolu.

Accomodation is provided as well as airfare from PH to Apia and a return airfare upon completetion of the contract. Transport to and from workplace(s) is also provided.

Starting gross salary is $2000 SAT per month, roughly equating to $37,000 Php per month.

Must be able to provide training for local staff and must be a team player. Working hours are Mon - Friday 8am to 5pm and on saturday from 8am to 2pm.
