To tell you honestly, I think you need another 10 year of experience so you can have more time to study and learn how to use screw driver on the phone, how to change and replace a simple earpiece, lcd and other removable part inside the phone, another 20 years to learn how to use soldering tools, study schematics, diagnose and fix phones. That time you can call your self a "cellphone technician.,"
most repair center abroad specially in the country that you mention they use youtube to do the software repair on phones, even a 10 yearold kid can remove FRP.
so dude, piece of advice try to learn hardware troubleshooting so that you can work in the country that you mention.

you dont need to travel in other countries because you want to learn in Hardware, the reply above tells that only youtube anybody can learn in software base and this is 100% right because of technology with the use of commonsense technology will be useful to make it easy.

and for the answer also of your question are same, you can learn hardware thru self study with the help of internet (google, forum, etc,) you can get the idea and apply to your self..or if you want to learn faster in hardware just hire a hardware specialist combination with internet instead to pay tickets to go in other countries for same thing..

my Tip for you is to start with the basic like assemble/disassemble replace lcd and some minor hardware issue and not to focus instantly in reballing IC's etc.

Dedication, Self Confidence & Patience is the key to everything that we want to achieve.

Let me introduce to you my long term friend and mentor in my daily Work ===> GOISTHEAN

lets try to ask him if he can provide dissasembly video of iphone 8 ===> https://goo.gl/Sc9ShP

GoodLuck!!

If you are willing to travel with your own cost contact Jessa jones
They offer a good package, you will learn basic and advance. The way they handle the phone, they just don't fix it, they analyze solution.

One basic example, a swollen battery of iphone 6, to fix it you will replace the battery of course. Most technicians way is just to replace the battery, thats it, but will you not come to think how it became swell? probably corroded system connector or corrosion inside the board. that is basic. Im sure jeassa's team can help you.
