Position: Electronics Repair Technician I

Required No.: 1 (One)

Purpose: Troubleshooting and Repairing of consumer electronic devices. Hardware Component Level 3 and Software Services for Smartphones, Tablets, Desktop and Laptop Computers, and more.

Specialization: Mobile Phones (Samsung, Apple, Alcatel and Huawei)

Responsibilities:

- Ensures that all repairs performed meets the company’s quality standards
- Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of Work Station
- Maintain positive work environment
- Support productivity by ensuring all request are handled in a timely manner
- Able to do documentation and reports as instructed and needed

Reports to: Technical Services Engineer

Requirements:

- Education: A Degree or Diploma in Electronics or Computer or Vocational course with TESDA accreditation.
- Affiliation: Member of any Filipino GSM Community of not less than 5 years (*not required but an advantage)
- Work Experience: Not Less than 5 years working in the same industry.

Essential Skills Required:

- Proficient in reading Block and/or Schematic Diagrams
- Able to identify and utilize correct parts and board components
- Ability to do line tracing on PCB’s and do Line modification
- Able to rework on any Ball Grid Array IC
- Able to use various Mobile Software Applications properly
- Excellent (English) Written and Verbal Communication skills
- A Team Player, can work under pressure and with little Supervision
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Contract and Compensation:

- Contract Duration: 1 Year Renewable with 3-month probation
- Salary Range: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour (Ave $2,000 Tax Free)
- Vacation: 2 weeks (with Pay) after every contract
- Work Duration: 8 hours a day, 6 days a week and holidays are paid in double
- Work Permit paid by Employer and Travel Ticket coming to Turks and Caicos

Dear Colleagues,

Please do research first about "Living in Turks and Caicos Island", This is a paradise in nature but no malls, no high end establishments, life is a bit backward. No tax in salary but all merchandise you buy or rent including service has added tax on it. We buy ***** and clothes through Amazon or other online store then ship to Miami Florida consolidate a box then pay to ship to Turks and Caicos, government then applies tax to all products you have bought outside of the island. Housing will cost you around 350 for shared apartment, 50 for shared internet + electricity and water 50+ and food depends on you ave 25+ a day for me. Hurricane Irma and Maria has just passed us check yearly weather here. Also island life has low season during September to Nov usually as no tourist or very few tourist comes in the island so most businesses are close also and expats are on mandatory vacation.
