Member: 2299771 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | LG d820 Nexus 5 - 0 dBm 99 asu - no service I bought a used Nexus 5, and as per my workplace rules I had to remove the cameras. I have done this several times on several phones without issue, and the process went smoothly. After I did this however, I lost my signal to T-Mobile. For some reason my wife's AT&T SIM works, but my T-Mobile SIM is a no go. When I search networks, only AT&T shows up with the T-Mobile SIM in, and this is after replacing the SIM at the T-Mobile store. The SIM works fine in my Nexus 4, but in my Nexus 5 it pretty much shows 0 dBm 99 asu, and occasionally I get something wacky like -117 dBm 7 asu. Now, genius that I am, I also flashed the android 5.0 factory image around this same time, so I am not sure if this is an issue with hardware or firmware. while doing all this I did not undo the four screws attaching the loudspeaker / main antenna array at the bottom of the phone; I only went for the cameras. I have replaced the two (black and white) coaxial antenna cables that run alongside the battery to no avail. Anyone have a good place to start troubleshooting this thing? Have you run into this problem before? The IMEI seems to show properly in Phone Info btw. Thank so much in advance. Jon |
