LG G2 D802 Brightness Can't Go Above 50%

The brightness goes up fine up to 50%, but from 50% to 100% the screen does not get brighter... Anyone know what the problem can be and how to fix it?

50% is very dim on this phone; very annoying.

I am having the same issue with a phone i just got, above approximately 40% it doesn't go brighter, I tried replacing a screen, same problem, tried replacing the MAIN FLEX, same problem.

Any solutions perhaps?, i'm guessing some issue with the motherboard...
