Member: 12162 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Just to be sure: Remove the surface components and shunt the pins they were in? is that it? They are 3, right? in the 1st page picture it seems that only 2 were removed. And what to do to the others on the right side? Just check if they are ok? Help, please! Thank you! |

Member: 728534 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Thank You senlikokan for the solution, worked great. Just had those harsh moments with soldering iron 0.5mm tip and small electric motor winding cable, very thin and good for this job. It's good that i chose to take off shielding metal from the main IC's as in your picture, this gave me space for easier access. Just remove the 2 EMI filters with hot air and then jumper those 8 connections as in picture. This happened not more than 1 month ago, first small glitches and soon screen shaking crazy all the time. If you don't have hot air and proper soldering station don't try it. Give it to gsm technician with proper tools. |

How do you count 8? What color(s) did you jumper? If multiple colors, can you please specify or doctor a pic for us? There are: - 5 Green - 5 Red - 3 Yellow - 1 Blue I guess that I don't know what the EMI filters look like in order to "jumper" them. TIA.

You just removed the TWO EMI filters at the bottom (the two sets of 4 squiggly contacts). And your 8 jumper solders were the ones colored... Gr Gr Gr Gr Bl Rd Gr Yw Am I correct? Also, what size wire do you use to solder jumpers like that?

S4F4M, apparently yes. Must bridge to replace the two EMI filters because from what I understand they that cause failures. It is impossible to do with conventional soldering iron. I still can not someone who is able to weld such a small circuit. Here in Brazil they charged me the value of a new device to fix (changing the entire board). I thank d-Artigo by imposed solution. I apologize for my bad English.

Member: 2615988 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I found someone who was able to make the weld as the images. But still not solved. No picture appears on the screen. Despite the LED indicates that the device connected. Can to unlock the phone and hear the sound volume. I tried in my d805, and nothing done. |
