Member: 2691060 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | LG G2 Motherboard dead after repair I had with the display connector (water damage) which turned the backlight off. While cleaning the connector on the mainboard (with a needle -> big mistake!) I saw a spark and the phone was off. I put the battery out and in again and tried to boot it but nothing happens. The only thing I notice is an increasing amount of heat from the CPU. My question is: Which part could have been killed by the short circuit? Does the G2 have any fuses or diodes to prevent chip damage? Regards Daniel |
