Permanent Lock on LG S310 - GSM-Forum

Hi,
I wonder if any one can help me?

I have paid for some one to unlock my new LG S310 and he gave me my code and the following instructions after i gave him my IMEI:

1. switch on phone without sim, LET PHONE LOAD
2. type 2945#*310#
3. Sim unlock mode WILL pop up.Enter the service provider unlock menu
4. type your unlock code and press ok
5. The phone will then reboot and the unlock is complete.

I have put the code in 3 times now and the phone says it is permanently locked now! The guy said it's my fault and said he cant help me any further

I can use my Tesco sim card in the phone still but would like it unlocked so I can use my other sim.

Can any one help?

If your phone has been hard locked then the only solution would be to take ti to someone that has an LG service tool such as X3c, LGTool etc.

They will be able to unlock it by cable for you.
