Before installation, uninstall all LG's programs and drivers from your computer. Tested on Windows XP. Click start(The Port 1 window should appear READY).  18. Disconnects USB cable and wait 5 seconds. 19. Press and hold voll up button in phone and connect USB cable. 20. The update process will begin automatically after that release the "vol up". 21.When the progress bar reaches 100%, Power ON the phone. WARNING!!! If the update process has stopped for a longer time (about 5 minutes) not disconnect the phone from USB, , press and hold Vol Up + Power and wait when update process resume. You do this on your own risk! Thanx to "marti701". UPDATE 18 SEPTEMBER 2011 To flashing rom with LGFLASHTOOL without errors you need right USB cable. Between 4 and 5 pin you have to solder resistor 910 Kohm.   The update process is the same ,but u don't need press any button when connect USB cable to phone. Phone screen during update  This fix update screen isue   After flashing the phone will restart. Update screen appears again(don't disconnect usb cable from phone and don't close LGDLASHTOOL) Please wait until you see the info about error of OTA update. Member: 1883552 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Bricked LG Optimus 3D (P920) Hy. I need a little help fixing my phone pls. I follow all the steps from first post, but my phone still bricked. I can start in download mode only with omap4boot flasher help. Used flashtool in 1 phase until 28% and after that phone turn off and cant start in download mode by himself to complete 2 phase with flashtool. With fastboot i can start download mode but after 4-5 min it turn off. I managed to flash "Boot21e_AP.bin" and "Boot21e_CP.fls" with Smartflash until download was complete, but no change. It seems that the power button does not work and the phone is dead. I tried using "fastboot" to flash x-loader, u-boot and boot.img to the phone but I get the error "Failed (remote: partition does not exist)" What i'm doing wrong or how can i fix my phone? PLS help ...PM or forum |

Member: 1568803 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 10 | guys i have 3 lg p920 omap bricked device tried this method and succesfully done flashing my phones even tried octobus box and successfuly done flashing but my phones not unbricked..One of them restart in logo start screen other 2 device dsnt power up nothing changes..is there any diffrent solutions or advice ? |
