02.12.2009 Phoenix Service Software - 2009.34.10.40495

Phoenix Service Software - 2009.34.10.40495
02.12.2009

This Phoenix Service Software installation package includes following SW
components:

- Phoenix Service Software 2009.34.10.40495
- DK2 Dongle Driver v 7.14.0.25
- Nokia Connectivity Cable USB Driver v 7.1.17.0 (for Win2000 driver
version 6.85.15.0)
- Flash Update Package 09.044.022
- FLS-x Dongle Driver v 2.09.28
- FPS-11 version 5.10.0

Error corrections & changes:

- Corrections & changes to DCT-4 IMEI / ESN rebuild procedure
- Please note that depending on what has been replaced, JBV-1 needs
power supply from different sources.
- This is required, because depending on the case JBV-1 needs to set
phone in different operating modes
- Supply power to JBV-1 Docking station from FPS-10 or FPS-21 Flash
Prommer output or external power supply depending on what components
were replaced, see table above.
- Connect phone and scan product, read phone information to check
communication with phone
- Open “Tools” – “IMEI / ESN Rebuild DCT-4” - Menu
- Provide Tucson Password and PIN code which have been delivered to you
by email. Please note that characters are case sensitive
- Select “UEM Replaced” if needed, see table above.
- Please note that SW update must be done separately, it can not be
combined with this procedure

Known errors & limitations:

- Software downgrade with Tucson system is only possible for BB 5.0
products supporting the Data Package 2 concept.
- Flashing with Flashing with FLS-5, SS-46 and product specific adapter is
not supported anymore
- If you install old DCT-4 data packages, Flash Update Package File
installation path may be wrong. This is caused by very old DCT-4 data
packages which contain Flash Update Package and overwrite current
information during installation. If you experience problems when updating
FPS-x prommers, please check that Phoenix “Prommer maintenance” is
looking for the files from the correct location which is “C:\Program
Files\Common Files\Nokia\Tss\Flash”. If not, Phoenix will show error
“Update via ini – file failed”. In this case, select “Update” from that Phoenix
“Prommer maintenance” – UI, browse to correct directory and select
“fpsxupd.ini” for all other prommers except the FPS-8.
- Multi Flash has limited capabilities, launch Multiflash UI first and then
connect phones one by one, do not attempt to service more than 5
phones at the time

Maybe this is the reason, from original post

Code:
- Flashing with Flashing with FLS-5, SS-46 and product specific adapter is
not supported anymore

Hello

@Bph&co
HI,
SO WE HAVE REACHED THE END OF THE LINE, JUST RECEIVED MY BOX A WEEK AGO, THOUGHT THAT WE WILL CONTINUE USING IT WITH LATEST PHOENIX SOFTWARE. UNLESS TEAM COMES WITH A STANDALONE FLASHER, THEN I WILL HAVE TO SAY THAT THIS PRODUCT HAS BECOME LIKE PRODIGY AND FEDERAL ONE. HOPE THAT YOU DONT LET US DOWN. HAVE A NICE DAY.

Hi,

You mean that Prodigy don't support phones that Nokia will release in 2014 ?
Yeah sorry for that, i think was quite ok for phones in 2002-2004 when was
still on sale.

For F1, details are blurry now, but as far as i can remember the manufacturer
couldn't reach sales target to justify development - he sold maybe 800 pieces
for 1-2 years.

Products come and go as market demand changes and technology need upgrading,
I suppose you are not using Nokia 5110, it was quite cool in 1998, but still....

BR, Alex

Hello

Hi,
yeh always sarcasm from team when they lack behind. My greatest blunder was buying this product. So i will keep advicing my friends not to touch this product anymore. What is the use of a box when you only use it for unlock. Have a nice day.
