5800 unlock fail - GSM-Forum

HI,

I have a few 5800's which go through the unlocking ok and read open after in "status".

But, if you remove the rj-48 and put it back in and read status again, it reads "closed"?

you need to start the scrip programm for entering unlock code automaticaly direct after unlock.

BUT DONT UNLOCK 5800 AFTER THIS UNLOCK NEXT ONE AND THEN CHECK IF UNLOCKED OR NOT BECAUSE IT IS ONLY THE LAST CODE SAVED...

YOU NEED TO CHECK IT ASAP AND IF NOT UNLOCKED USE code.amx TO UNLOCK OR YOU
NEED UNLOCK AGAIN.

yes please tell us how you managed to unlock phone. can someone please tell me how we install the code.amx program, do we just drag and drop to the sd card?

Yes, start usb disk mode and drag the script to your /Programs/Script directory, then restart.

hi, guys just unlocked a 5800 this afternoon, was very easy to unlock. just clicked UPLOAD and waited for the phone to unlock - what a great device!

yes with genie it very easy.. once you have good cable
