Hi,

We have released a new application. It is able to unlock the first generation
of BB5 phones (6630,N70,6680...) using the Dejan's AES hack.

It is a standalone application, requires Fbus cable only, the clip can power
the phone during the process. It will also create backup of PM sec area on
first connect.

Please use the 'GenieClient.exe' to update your SD card contents so you
can enjoy this new application.

Usage:

After update, go to 'Programs', then 'Nokia', then start Bb4u.exe. Connect
the phone via adapter, select correct resistor, and make sure the phone
enters Local/Test Mode. Press 'Unlock'.
Backup of the sec area will be auto created in '/Files/Nokia/BB5/PM/'

If something goes wrong, you can use the 'Restore' function to upload old
security area.

The application is limited to detect only older models, so no newer models
security could be accidentally damaged.

nice, but

it's impossible to leave this application - "quit" doesn't work. Only reset helps.

Sure it possible,

you should select "quit" menu item, and than press "right" button.

Now we have this for JAF and BB5-Box.
Is it possible for us Genie-lovers to have this 2 ?

I know you said before that it is not possible to protect the solution.
but now it already out.
