BB5NOTP error 3 and waiting calculating

When I unlock any phone, the display show calculating... and later er3 and I can´t unlock nothing.

Hi,

This error could be caused by the following reason:

1. Unstable power during unlock
2. Bad quality cable or loose cable
3. Some HW fault in the phone

If I'm not wrong, it means HASH NOT SUPPORTED.
Which model are you trying to unlock?

Hi,

A small follow up on the problem. I just saw a video that shows this error,
here the link.

It's quite clear that the phone stopped communicating when the backlight turned on.
It is most possible to be caused by frequency peak caused by turning on the
backlight voltage multiplier, transmitted via the service cable.

Most simple solution is to go to Setting in the Main menu and dissable the
backlight off timer.

yeah maybe can be a solution i was getting lot of headash before !!!

I got many problemes in those phones included E71 - E65 - N95 - N96 - ,.......

i was not in knowen about genie SP unlock process so after safe secArea phone get in flash boot mode and error apear in calculation process....

so at last its was simply clear phone need more Power so when it turn to the backlight ^flash boot mode^ hold ur finger at Genie adapter and change resistor from

5.1k to 10K and probleme are resolved .

Some times we get also Er10x01 its cozed by $hity cable quality i recomend averyone to get a genie universal cable set not any one

be smart ur can beware lot of headash

yes i agree with you but mr Alan should make the genie cable set more accessable rather than have to ask reseller if the have cable like if it some top secret about the cable

I guess that i got this error 10x05 because the has was not supported, because i tried to unlock with zuki 2.01 and i got this hash not supported too.

Hi,

Yes hash 0x9DDB.... is not supported by latest released version. The correct error is:

'Error1 0x05' - there suppose to be a space on the screen between both codes, its not
visible on your screen ?

Im not sure, but i think i just get a line that looks like "Calculating... Err10x05" and clip makes a buzz. Will check back on monday.

Will there be an update to support this hash too soon?

Yeah ur right, there is a space so it looks like Er1 0x05.
I am having this error with many bb5 now (5220 mostly).

Is there any incoming update (paid or not) to solve this?
