The clip turn off by itself after few seconds


The clip turn off by itself after few seconds, I have to push the keys in order to keep it on. Is this NORMAL? when i go to usd disk mode half on the lcd only
is displayed...This clip in newly bought today.

Is this normal? very disappointed.

how to turn it off when not in use? remove the battery?

just don't touch it he will display off after few sec as you say, or just remove battery

yes, itīs normal, the idea is to save battery... you can disable this function in the settings and light will stay all the time ON.

you can put device in sleep mode when you not need it. just keep button "1" pressed for 3-4 seconds. same procedure to get it back to "life"...

change lcd use nokia 6100 lcd....lcd on genie is a crappy TFT chinese clone and in dim light it`s turning black....tested on my genie ...used 6100 lcd and now it`s perfect ....be carefull when dismantling the box...it`s verry easy but use care ....

Oh thats great john but why this so important note is not mention in manual . So many peoples r asking for that infact in my country no body does knew about this feature bcz we all keepsourdevices into cover and cannot uncovered it every time.Thanks a lot. But this is my suggetion to must keep this kind of short note into manual with some seperate instruction chapter.
