exists 5800 with SL3 security?

Hi. Got 1 5800 which is v30 and locked to H3G UK. Genie box show it as PA_SL3. Can someone please share your experience? Are there really some 5800 with SL3 security or Genie just displays its security type incorrectly? And can it be unlocked with Genie logger or not? Maybe it could be downgraded as was explained here:

If I'm not wrong there could be 3 different types of 5800 v30:
1) SL2 which were simply updated from lower version and can be unlocked after simple downgrade.
2) SL2 which were originally v30 and can be unlocked by downgrading(previous thread) or logger.
3) SL3 which could not be unlocked in any ways except operator code.


Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes the 5800 does exist with SL3 simlock.

but is it possible that same FW version (v30) would be used for SL2 and SL3 security versions? Because other models like 5310 for SL3 uses different FW which is very easy to recognize.

Nokia 5800 is SL2 not SL3! 5800 have Simlock!
If is SL3 is any new (Another) 5800.V30 is only firmware.
I Unlock all 5800.Any Version, With Box-Free.

I had 2 kind of phones and any of my nokia dongle couldn't unlock them;made via allgsmunlock sever without problems and in the same day I received the codes.
The same problem I had with an 6300 locked on orange UK(all programs so in it sl3 security and give message not supported).

Yes.. V30.xxxx is being seen on SL2 and SL3 handsets now. I don't know if the SL2 handsets with V30.xxxx come out of the factory with this Soft. Version, maybe we are just seeing normal SL2 handsets that people have upgraded to V30.xxxx

But again 10000000% there are some SL3 5800 that have been released.

Hm very strange,
if you can recognise the sl3 simlock from pm120, why you don't implement this into the logger to prevent using the logger with sl3 phones and also to save users credits.
