Formatted sd card ? - GSM-Forum

I am totaly unable to update my SD card and support team is still not replying me OK . I have formatted my NEWSD card of 2 GB but before formatting i made its one copy to another folder . My question is this can i use an another SD CARD purchase from local market with this device ?

yes, you can use any "good quality" 1gb or 2gb SD-Card from your local market.

Respected sir as per your given instructions , i have formatted my card and again inserting into device and selecting MODE USB DISK , but still same problm sir showing DRIVER ERROR , Plz guide me what shouldi do again enable to use card and updating also . As i would like to say that i formatted this ocard on FAT 32 and know there is none of virus in my PC . Plz waiting for your advice -----sir ? What kind of driver , is asking and how can i put it sir ?

"driver error" means that genie cannot access the SD-card.
do you have another fat32 sd card to try? no need to format it, just insert it and go into usb-mode. if it will be ok, then you are sure that your sdcard has a problem.

i have a question also.... i have 2009 model genie.. with 1gig memory card.. working ok... if i want to upgrade to a 2gig is that a problem...but again is 2gig really needed ?

I also facing same problem ,when i insert sd card and try to change mode to usb,it gives driver error:4.
i check with empty card,it gives driver error:1
i also send mail to [email protected] for sd card contents.
1 more thing,when i run log.smx,box connect with computer and with remotetool also.

2gb is not needed, 1gb is enough for genie to work properly.
