how to flash phone with user password [ANSWERED] - GSM-Forum

i have a nokia 5130c rm-495 that has a user password. i want to flash the phone to reset the password. but when i connect the phone to the computer it says to enter password to select usb mode, so the computer will not find the phone. is there any way around this?

try dead usb with phoenix...but sorry i dont know if phone that support, so please post

would you do that for most phones? sorry if that is a dumb question but i want to start doing this for customers, but have never flashed a phone before.

Connect phone in local mode

In this way phone will be conected to pc.
If you want reset only password don't need flash phone.

tried both those again. nothing happens. it turns on normally and asks for security code.
