| i have ****n up my genie Please can anyone help, i have purchased a genie and ****n it up, i put a new battery onto the cable adaptor and connected to the mains adaptor, my genie began to smoke, i removed the battery from the cable adator and when i plug into mains it still works and does not overheat. please can someone tell me do i only need to attatch the battery to the cable adaptor if i am using internal battery, or does it need to be connected all the time, please let me know cause if it needs connecting all the time i have killed my genie, thanks in advance |

| re smoking genie Thanks for this i just want to confirm you no longer need to connect a 9v battery to the cable adaptor? this is what caused it to burn out,hopefully it works, it powers up and program runs i just need some nokias to test it, thanks for your reply |
