Info&SimLock...Error5! [ANSWERED] - GSM-Forum

I cant connected any phone in Remote Tools and GeniePlus
i changed some cable and i used X-Fbus with Genie adapter but same ... Error5!
but with JAF,MT,UB, work good
i teste N96, 6303, 5220, 5130 and 6300 and 3110 .... in Genie_BB5notp he detected but in Remote Tools and GeniePlus(1209, 1650, 6030 rm-225...) cant connect

Had same problem yesterday with an 5800. If you are using 7 pin cable with adapter try to change resistance on adapter cable to NC or 5,7 or just try them all untill it works. Worked for me with 5,7 resistance.

I doubt the Genie Adapter. but i don't have other adapter. i can use TMA Adapter with genie?

Hi,

The new version of the script (0.72) will set the phone in Fbus mode and
keep it powered. Check if your phone is in Local/Test mode. The new version
of the script has problem switching between modes(Fbus/flash) with some cables that
have to higher value resistor inside.

every fone i have is error 5 i have 2 genie converter cables with white wires and the resistor bit i have tried with all settings and still nothing will go local mode this is useless box if they cant fix it and as for software im on 181 so cant be due to an upgrade .

And I've also searched the whole forum, but nobody can really explain, how to solve this problem

Last 5800 ok with bb5notp.Yes with server NOT working.The same problem 3 diferent adapter ,diferent type of phone without conect.One time is working.I believe is a server problem.But i see now is unlock 2680 and 5800 .Slow but very good work.Thanks genie team
