Latest Phoenix 2009 and the new flashing protocol - GSM-Forum

Hi,

Probably some of you already know that the most recent version of Phoenix 2009.12.07.38366
has problem working with current FLS5.exe.

It is due to the new Nokia Flashing protocol implemented in latest Flash Package update.
It affects RAP and RAPIDO phones, although partially implemented in RAP, it is fully
used with RAPIDO phones.

We did some work to add support for this new protocol, there is a new Beta of the emulator
available. As we are overloaded with work, and don't have all the latest phones and
time to test, again had to resort to interested users who are willing to give it a go.

Some rules:

1. Please don't use customer phones for experiments and make post 'Please fix this
bug quickly - customer is waiting'

2. We need the debug logs in a special format, please read here, this is the only useful
type of logging for us

3. We expect from you to have some basic knowledge of electronics, computers and
English so we can have easy time communicating

So if interested and willing to help, please post your SN, i will attach the new version
for your Genie.

Hi,

I didn't expect such interest, thanks ! Please find the files attached.

One important thing, remove old phoenix, clear Program Files/Nokia
and Common Files/Nokia dirs from junk left by uninstaller. Then install latest
2009 Phoenix available from FTP. Restart , 1-2 times till device is installed and
detected. Make sure that you have latest loaders after the process.

Latest are FLS-5 Drivers - v2.0926 witch use with new phoenix and this new aplication ??

Hi,

Maybe you didn't read my first post ? Did you see anywhere me mention downgrade
of the drivers ?
Off course you need to use latest - that's the whole point of this test, to fully
test support the new flashing protocol.

To the rest:

Please do not post any more serials. I think 8 people are enough for the test.
Here i attach latest requested applications.

read info work but after press FIRMWARE UPDATE
phoenix try read product code and give error and software close adn I try few times and all time the same.
