N95 flashing fails midway through

While flashing my N95 RM-159, I get an error 20 in Phoenix and when I check the Genie, it is locked up and I have to pull all power connections to it. THis only happens with the N95 though. Anyone know why this happens? Below is the status pane from Phoenix

I got the error on an older versions of Genie firmware as well as the latest firmware using Phoenix 4.007. I tried using Phoenix 44.005 on another machine and that one doesn't even start to download the firmware and gives the error:

Connected FLS device type: FLS-5 in USB port
Error: MCU did not ACK
All operations completed
Product flashing failed.

I then connected the Genie back to the other machine where I'm running Phoenix 4.007 and it went back to the original error that I posted about.

I've flashed the N95 8gb with no problem. It's the regular N95 that has the issue. I'll try your suggestion anyway but you should try plain N95 if you can.

So I'm surprised that no one from Genie has responded yet cause usually they're quick to suggest a solution. Does anyone have have some ideas on what the problem might be?

Hi,

I guess, it is depend on cable connection.
Try to clean fbus pins, and make sure that cable enough pressed to pcb.
Also you post here flashing log, use dbgview to view log.

What statement
All cables immediately fault???
I don't believe that, because with the same cable an der v20 of Phönix the flash will be successfully!!!

And now?
